Pre-Viking Age (1500-800 BC).
This ornamented disc is the lid of a trinket box found at Kassemose Høj, Copenhagen. Trinket boxes were worn by pre-Viking Age women on a belt around the waist and in it kept jewelry, amulets, toiletries and other personal belongings.
